I absolutely love that when I read their words now, I'll be able to picture them talking.
And laughing.
And laughing.
These ladies (and more) made BlogHer '09 the very best thing it could have been for me. In the strip on the right, you'll find my roommate, Kim from Prairie Mama and her edible little morsel, Libby. I got off the plane and hit an instant comfortable rhythm with this lovely duo. Then we met up with Lee and Deb and laughed for an entire weekend.
What I love most about hanging with these ladies at BlogHer is that they're the most genuine people on the planet. They are exactly who they are, not forcing anything in an effort to impress anyone or grow a readership or any such thing. I love that.
And that's exactly how they did impress everyone, by being their beautiful, warm, hilarious and approachable selves.
I miss them.
There is another group of bloggers that I got to know this weekend (you know who you are), and I'm going to share some things with you about them soon. For now, this post must end because I know it's going to make Debbie, my good friend from Suburb Sanity want to stick forks in her eyes since she couldn't be there. But speaking of Debbie, I did enter a contest to win both of us a trip to BlogHer '10 in New York next year. (I would seriously pee my pants if we won. Results Friday at Mabelhood.)
P.S. Lee's post on her blog yesterday sums up what she learned at BlogHer as a new attendee. Her "10 Things" really are very similar to mine, so if you want to know what I learned from BlogHer, you can head over and read her post. Yes, I'm too lazy to do my own.
Peace out.

It's nice to hear something positive about BlogHer. I've read a few negative posts. Maybe the negative people are just faster to post?
So jealous but thrilled that you had a great time!! Can't wait to hear more.
RH- you know, I guess I could mention negative things, but I'm just not focusing on them. I had too much fun with people to care all that much about the negative. Overall, it was GOOD.
we really ARE hot...
i am too lazy to write a blogHer post, too. i am, however, going to write a 3 part series on your purse.
you think i am kidding, don't you?
oh, lil libby and her sweet mama. they were definitely a glorious find!
It must be so amazing to meet some of the people you blog with. I swear I have made some really great friends and when they are not blogging I wonder about them and what they are up to.
Sounds like you had a really great time!
I am so, so jealous! But, I have met a lot of local amazing women, so I can't complain too much.
Awww...that looked like it was so much fun. I missed out on all the fun!
How fun, I can't wait to go check out their blogs too!
I'm going to go check out that list now. I was a first timer too - and I had a blast. I don't know why so many people might be dissing it (I haven't seen those posts myself) - it was fun! Unfortunately, I never got to meet you - boo hiss! Next year!!!
I love hearing What you and Lee have to say about your blogher experiences, your positive perspectives are so refreshing and uplifting.
Love your pics! I'm glad you had a good time and I'm off to read the 10 things!
Oh I wish that I could have gone to Blogher 09. I really want to make sure I get to Blogher 10. Not sure how I will pull it off, but I am going to start working on it now. Thanks for sharing your experiences!
I just smiled as I looked at these pics! it looks like you had a fabulous time!!! so glad!
I've always been curious about BlogHer. Been blogging three years but have never felt a strong desire to go till this year - perhaps on account of wanting to meet you! So glad you had a good time.
Peace Out. :) The smiles say a LOT. I think BlogHer sounds like a very interesting excursion. 2010's in NYC would be very hard to pass up. Free tickets or no.
Can I just say that I am so happy that I got to meet you? It was lovely searching for ice cream cake with you after cheeseburgher....did you find any?
I absolutely LOVE that bottom pic of you with your big smile. You are a cutie! So glad you had fun. How did you find people? Walk around yelling out blog names?
I think it's great that you had such a wonderful time meeting your friends.... You seem like a genuinely sweet person yourself! It's no surprise that you would focus on the fun you had.
It was so awesome meeting you in person - you are just as charming face to face as you are in print!!
I'm so glad you had a great time! I'm looking forward to next year and meeting you then!
If I am not in China next summer or just before, I WILL be at BlogHer. Just so you know...
And I am relieved to know I can just be myself. I really didn't want to have to get a pedicure.
You guys are so very hot and funny and amazing and I miss you all very much!!!!
You make it sound so simple and fun. Makes me want to go now. lol! Glad you had such a wonderful time with fabulous ladies!

Why is your FB page "temporarily unavailable"? ? I have two VERY (yes. mmmhmm. very) important things to tell you... and they have nothing to do with Blogging, BlogHer, Blogs in general or the letter B! :p
