I'm home safe and sound. Or rather, I'm at my parent's home safe and sound, currently.
After 2 flights and a 2 hour drive home from the airport, I pulled in the driveway last night and wondered how in the world I was going to carry my bags inside the house...in my condition. My condition = utterly exhausted.
I have so much to say. I can't even begin to decide how to narrow it down. For now, I'll just show you a group of some of my favorite people. We visited The LDS temple in Salt Lake City, taking a break from the Casual Blogger Conference to see some sites.
Then I made everyone leave right after we arrived because I was all paranoid I was going to be late for my keynote.
Yes. I read one of my posts in front of everyone as a "keynote." Who really knows what keynote means? Anyway. CJane was in my peripheral so I think I only looked up from my words twice to engage listeners (I learned you're supposed to do that in Speech class in high school). Sorry, friends. I did want to see you, but I sort of was really totally and completely maybe nervous.
*These are the names of the people in the picture above. My parent's computer refuses to allow me to move them up by the photo. Please forgive (or play a game where you try to match them up):
Just so I don't forget, the conference and my experiences there had me thinking on a few specific topics: insecurity, ego, religion, etc. Yeah, I do have a lot to say, just not today because of that whole I can't function thing. (And also because I'm totally distracted by gobbling up the goodness that is My Boys.)
Until next time...
