Squeeze, Squeeze

Miles was grabbing my boobs tonight at bedtime.

He was saying, "let me hug these guys," while reaching out with a tiny hand. (squeeze squeeze) "yeah, these guys." (squeeze squeeze) "This one." (squeeze) "And this one." (squeeze)

(This all happened really fast so please stop having visions of me just standing there, allowing my child to fondle me.)

I just was kind of shocked, so I didn't move too quickly.

Lately, Milesy's big stalling-at-bed-time technique is to hug my back, then my head, then my face, then my foot, then my "udder foot." And on it goes. Today he added the boobs.

I'm not sure what I'll do if he continues to make this particular request as he goes through his list of body parts to hug. "Honey, we do not hug boobers," doesn't seem like a good response.

I don't know. I'm too tired to decide right now. I guess I'll just wait and see what happens.

Asher's impromptu birthday party (thank you, husband) went well. We had two grandpas, an aunt, an uncle and two cousins here this afternoon. It was good. There was cake and ice cream. Asher laughed maniacally for all to hear. What more could we ask for? I mean, besides a boob hug.

Hilarious! Your intro was so funny, I had to read it out loud to my husband. And blog reading is NOT a shared hobby. Totally cracked me up (squeeze squeeze)!:)

I think that's a completely acceptable response. What a hilarious story!! Aren't kids funny?

Just pray he never throws, "Mommy, why did your booby-tops fall down?" at you. Got that one from Eden last week.

I'm currently researching plastic surgeons...
:)~

xo, crock

Hahahahahaha. I've had to explain to my children before that "those are NOT handles." Also that they are NOT ramps for their hotwheels cars. But I don't think I've ever had anyone request to hug them... Hahaha. Oh the crazy conversations mothers get to have!

Kimberly, I did laugh! Of course! So I'm sure he'll do it again...

C -I want the number of that plastic surgeon, Miles also did add "yeah, these little guys..."
They never used to be "little."

Joolee, not a shared hobby with Ryan and I either, he totally doesn't get it...

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I meant to tell you that I LOVE the title of your blog because it reminds me of a Mother Theresa quote (and I'm paraphrasing poorly here) that says something like "There are no extraordinary people. Just ordinary people doing ordinary things with extraordinary love."

--not sure how that applies to squeeze, squeeze, but I'll leave it at that.
