Faces

He is feisty
and he's thoughtful
and he's stubborn
and he's my helper
and he laughs at my jokes and
I laugh at his

He's my big boy
who just had tiny newborn feet ten minutes ago
it seems...

he's my Miles
and I'm crazy about him.

He even loves my stories
about a little boy named Jiles
who loves
pickles
and turns green
and grows wings
and flies over the backyard fence...

He's got many faces
and I'm the one who
gets to see them,
really see them.

~~~~~~~
Let's not forget this face,
my Asher
Seriously.
I'm surrounded by boys, too. Of course I wouldn't have it any other way. Great Shots! I think each picture showed a real aspect of their personality by the look on their little faces.
Dear Miles & Asher,
I'm giving you a citation for exceeding lawful limits of cuteness. I'll let you off with a warning this time. But you better stop speeding through the whole growing up thing, mkay?
Saw you at the Blog Frog, and I thought I'd ask you to dance. Not really. I just couldn't resist after I began my sentence that way.
What I was going to say, is that your blog name intrigued me. I love it! Also, love this post.
I've been absent from these parts for too long. :) But I knew eventually I'd catch up. It might be done in parts, but it'll be done.
All the faces we see are definitely something to stop and ponder. I worry sometimes that I MISS some of them, and don't fully grasp the layers they're developing. Thanks for the reminder to pay more attention.
